Our society is obsessed with fictional stories and prioritizes them above real ones.

The Make Them Visible Foundation (MTVF) raises resources for a collective of organizations across the country combatting homelessness and hunger. MTVF presents Unspoiled Lives - a provocative campaign to raise awareness and generate funding for our homeless neighbors through storytelling. Our social media campaign, Unspoiled Lives, pits the stories of fictional TV characters to stories of real individuals experiencing homelessness.

The campaign was launched with an emotionally disruptive film, thoughtfully enlightening viewers that the road to homelessness is complex, often devastating, and yet, not void of hope.

Following the video, there will be an “Episode” of a story from a real individual who suffers from homelessness. This “Episode” was posted to MTVF’s Facebook page.

MTVF will continue to spoil TV shows on Facebook and draw people into a series of true stories from real individuals. Various "Episodes" will be posted to MTVF’s Facebook page. Each real life story will conclude urging readers to invest in a life and help change the story.
